Passionate about wilderness protection in polar regions, my goal is to explore modern challenges of progressing environmental degradation, especially concerning the Arctic’s cultural and biological diversity.
Back in 2019, I defended my master’s thesis on environmental law issues related to the Arctic's offshore oil industry at the University of Lodz. That same year I represented Poland in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, which gave me the incentive to explore my interest in international law further. I then relocated to the Netherlands to embark on a Public International Law LL.M. at Leiden University. Following the move, I was researching the international regulation of marine plastics before graduating cum laude in 2020.
